I feel lonely
:(16th June and 17th June; Sleepover + Add Math + Late night Movie Marathon... @ She-Reen's house
I thought I'd be the latest there, seemingly I agreed to arrive at 9 a.m., but I came at 9.25 a.m.
Well, who'd knew that I would be... the earliest? xD
Then Diviya arrived, so the three of us started the Add Maths project while waiting for Michele, who was needed to affirm the prices of goods that was in her handwriting...
While that, She-Reen's dog, Hugo accompanied us [as if we weren't alone
:(]
He made himself looked more like a loner [awwww...
:(]
He was actually looking out... but he heard me, so...
*haiz*Lunch! Yum!!
Dinner!
:DIkan Bilis soup!
:9Sorry, not sure what this is...
*shrug*but it tasted good
:9The food that you need to put inside the Ikan Bilis soup...
I actually
*hearts* the rectangular 'flavoured' tofu
Could spend hours eating it...
;9hm... really lazy to give you the full account. Let's say that Diviya went home, She-Reen watched her drama, Michele was surfing the Net, I updated my blog and edited pictures.
Too bad Diviya can't stay longer. Wished you did
=PAt 10.30 p.m., the three of us watched Twilight.

Alright, first, I'll say that it's weird that I watched New Moon first, then [properly] watching Twilight. But I don't like Twilight anyway, and I don't know why Robert Pattinson [is this how you spell his name? Flame me,
*sticks tongue* bleeeeeeh] is so damn famous
*eyeroll*So blah. Twilight dialogue was damn awkward. There was so many other things they could choose to say, but decided on THAT to say
*eyeroll again*Next, The Proposal. I watched this already, so She-Reen and I fell asleep. Maybe it was partly because this time, we were all lying down. I heard from Michele and She-Reen the next morning that Michele had laughed so loud that She-Reen woke up many times
;xTruthfully, I was sound asleep. Michele's plan to laugh extra loud in order to wake me totally failed. I only woke up when the movie was over and they told me to sleep in the centre
;xThe next day, I finished the Thailand post, had breakfast, had snacks, had lunch, read debate material, and said goodbye to She-Reen. I had to send Michele back, so we left at 4 p.m.
The original plan was to go out, to the mall... or somewhere
*shrugs*It didn't work out because... Michele had tuition.
D:BTW;
Souvenir!
:)Thank you, She-Reen!
Love the turtle
:DAnyways, I'm also going to blog about today
:)and give you some reviews later, on books that I read during my Thailand trip
;xI got up, bathed and 'played' my computer. I finally know how to create brushes on Photoshop Creative Suite 3 [CS3]
:)Love it! Bad news? I accidentally deleted all the original brushes I had
=.=oh well. At 1.30 p.m., Mum rushed Monica and I to IOI Mall. We were heading there to meet up with Vicky and her family to watch 'Karate Kid'.

websiteThe Karate Kid
My verdict? This is a really good movie to watch :)
I believe that it's a great movie about [West says] moving on with life and [Japanese says] dealing with problems head-on.
It has humour, slice of life, and every part is definitely worth watching as you get to feel a character based on what Dre is going through.
It's like, an American boy trying to find his place in China... facing the [kung fu-style] bullies head on, and winning the friendship of a Chinese girl, Mei Ling... no wait, friendship? Lovers, more like
*nods*Okay, if they were in Malaysia doing what they did at the shadow theater, lots of people will disapprove, and the local news would publish it on paper
D:Oh well. What happens in the movies is mostly fanasty.
Anyways, it is a good movie to bring your child and teach him about never giving up; or backing down when life beats you down. It's the main lesson of this story.
Just food for thought. Is this movie really named 'The Karate Kid'? It feels more like, 'The Kung Fu Kid'. I think someone had miss-named this movie. Someone call the director, Mr. Harald Zwart!
Quote Dre, "
It's not Karate, Mom! It's Kung Fu!"
haha xD
After watching the movie, I went into the Padini Concept Store to wait for Mum. Oh, She-Reen; we need to talk. Seriously.
Okay. Some pictures for you to feast your eyes on;
The carousel. Brings back memories, eh?
Have you ever noticed the rooftop of IOI old wing before?
o.oThere was a Father's Day stand there...
Which I presume that it was meant for the fathers to take photos
But my Mum decided she was a father, and my sis decided to be the background
;xFinally, you can see what it really looked like
:)Lol at the World Cup trophy
Who's side are you on this year?
I'm on Shenkuu!!... wait, that's in Neopets
=.=Even Coca-cola's promoting the World Cup
o.oRandom aquarium picture.
I was waiting for Mum at the Niichi Store after Monica bought her 'Kapoh' [with a silent 'H']
I wanted to take the wordings on that red, round sign, but Monica decided otherwise
==My bag's zipper
:)Oh look!! A fish!!
*excited*My heels, as a model
xDGuess who's feet are these??
I like these branches. If only I could Photoshop like this...
*haiz*We then went home.
Monica and I had digital gadgets on our minds that we personally wanted. She wanted a compact, digital, touchscreen camera... while I wanted a pair of headphones.
Are Logitech good ones?
o.oTaken from;
websiteOH! Love them!!
But sister said not to get them yet, as there were other shops I could look at
@.@Oh well
*sigh*Oh! Book report!!

Technically, these were She-Reen's books that I borrowed last year and read this year. I know, late and all
*sigh*Anyways, as proven, once I pick something up and read it, it's difficult to put down.
First we have... Jordan?? Yeah, head cheerleader and all; who discovers there's more than the outer shell of the prefect blonde 'It' girl when she's with Shane. She discovers her inner Goth-self [oooohhhh]...
Then, we have... Nisha, born in India, bred in America; she keeps her American and Indian selves apart from one another; lying to both sides... boyfriend Brian and to her Indian family. She refuses to be the middle person or take sides when her two best friends lead a massive catfight...
Lastly, we have... Tara, the ever stressing President of the Prom community. Secretly, she's in love with Nate, her bestie, Jordan's boyfriend. But when a secret admirer came over and she gave him a makeover, she's totally gone head-over-heels with him. After the massive, shocking break-up of Prom King and Queen [mainly because of her big mouth], she tries to make it better, but her good intentions backfire.
Will this be the end of the friendship between the three musketeers? Will they even make it for the ever-glamourous Prom??
Technically, once I've gotten 'into' the book, I would not pay attention to anything else besides the book. All the way, you'll find yourselves wondering whether Tara and Jordan could just push aside all pride and prejudice between them and come clean with themselves. At the same time, you'll be rooting for Nisha, hoping that somehow, she'll come clean with her parents too... especially about her American boyfriend, Brian.
Um... that's how I felt, anyways
:)Next up;
websiteDark Angels
This book was... sort of boring. Once I put it down, it stayed down and was unable to capture my interest until I forced myself to read it again. Things only gotten more interesting when Nest was about to be married with Godfried... wait... Godfry... or something. Humour only came about after Nest scolded... um... Brother... something. See? I even forgot the characters.
Anyways, like the cover, it was not my cup of tea, using religious figures [like 'Brothers', 'Church', 'Devil' and such] in the book. Bleh!
Final review;
Dragon Slippers
Personally, I loved this book, right up to the very end
:)Creel is hardworking, determined, brave and witty when it comes to being who she is. Also, I hated Princess... Amalia sooo much that I thought I would have had enough hatred to storm the castle and strangle her, fighting all the castle guards.
Oh, the best part is when Creel feels a longing loss as Shardas gets influenced by the power of Princess Amalia... and when Prince Luka elaborately tells Creel about a stolen Rose Pane at the local Church, and when Velika suddenly appears before Creel's very eyes with a witnessing, tramping, shrill Princess Amalia.
Um... this book is definitely worth your while
*wink*
